I have a 2008 Honda pilot, with 166000 4wd.
When I try activating the vtm4 system, I doesn't turn on. I put in the lowest gear but nothing happens. The are no lights on the dash.
Clarification: Did you or someone else already run a full-system scan to see what faults or codes come up? Usually, a several hundred dollar and up scan tool that can do this. The basic, cheap readers won’t be able to read these.

Have you read the owner's manual to see if there were any conditions that might prevent it from turning on?
