Hi Scotty, my son has a 2012 VW GTI 2.0T and has issues with the Intake manifold, a new one was purchased and installed. Now a code P2015 (Intake runner control position sensor error on bank 1) has shown up. We are considering replacing the unit with a updated version and the sensor. Is this a DIY fix, or shown we consider a pro?. Also I have been reading the warranty has been extended to 120k for this issue, is this correct?

Realize it is Volkswagen and you can't replace those parts without having t h.em reprogram to fit the computer software only a Volkswagen mechanic can do that .is Volkswagen is a real squirrely company. And they require reprogramming to be done when many parts are changed on the computer slash engine/computer system
