I have a vw passat 08 it was driving fine. fir a while I was coming home. one night from work. kinda on the gas. a little bit. it sounded like. I ran over pc of metal or something and it. hit. the ground. then a min or 2 later. epc light came on. I got a little farther. and then it stalled. I pulled over and it. it cranked. for a few seconds. then started I got home the next day. I tried to drive and it took. me. quite a while. to get it started. it did eventually start and when it warmed up drive fine. epc light still on. and befor warm when I put it in drive. it would stall. after that. never. wanted to start. again I changed. a bunch. of different stuff everything that involved the. epc light. at one point I got it to run but was backfiring pretty bad. no idea what. it can be I got a compression tester and fuel tester coming it has spark. changing crank sensor again. any ideas. just cranks and cranks. doesn't sound like it wants to fire. at all it sprays gas. wen tested for fuel .
well let's walk so I can stand to be rolling positive junk at that age I've never had a single customer buy one of those besides and ever be happy with it over the long term. But if it did make horrible noise and ran bad I guarantee you either the engine of the transmission is going out and it will probably cost more money to fix than the vehicle is worth for my experience
