I watched Scotty's youtube video on why we dont need to warm up a modern cars before driving them. I have got a C320 v6 auto with 250k kilometers on the meter. It need to be warmed up before driving it otherwise only the reverse gear will work, it wont engage front gears until its warm enough. What might be the problem with it?

Check the transmission fluid. It might be low or dirty.

With 250,000km, there's a good chance the transmission is worn out

The tranny is going out. Check fluid and filter, but sounds like a lot of work needs to be done.
