I know we only talk about cars here, but I don't know if someone could please help me. If anyone else has had a Hotpoint top-mounted washing machine and it stops making a noise when it reaches the rinse cycle and knew what was the problem , please let me know. Thank you so much for your help.

As you note this forum is not about appliance repair. There are plenty out there that are, some frequented by appliance repair pros, where you're much more likely to find an answer. Just use your favorite search engine to find them.
