I have a 2016 Lexus RX with 46k miles.
Several days ago I spilled around 7 oz of drinking water on my vehicle carpet. It's being sun-dried at the moment.
Is the section under the carpet going to get rusty?
P.S. My first "major spill" ever, so please excuse the triviality.
Oh, man that car is ruined now! Tell you what though, I'd give you like 500 bucks for it just to take it off your hands so you don't have to bother with a junkyard.

Seriously though, that amount of water spilled and then dried up right away is not going to hurt anything.
Definitely need a salvage title on this one!!

Nope. I have spilled way worse than that including leaks from the sunroof and definitely no rust, especially on a Lexus.
Your vehicle is more hardy than that.
BTW, definitely don’t go to the dealer for that - they will probably say it’s rusted and offer to fix it for you for several thousand dollars.
