How long should it take to replace a serpentine belt and water pump on a 2007 Toyota corolla?
AAA charge my $ They said the labor was 3 hours.

That's about right. The mechanic has to completely drain the coolant before taking out the water pump. Take in the fact that it's a transverse engine, it's a tight fit compared to old cars from like the '70s and '80s, where you had hoods the size of Texas and longitudinally mounted engines. The mechanic needs to refill the engine with coolant after the replacement is completed, and that takes some time.
