Wet passenger side mats

Hi Scotty and the community,

I experienced a small puddle of water in the back passenger side seat floor. I got rid of it but noticed that the front passenger side floor is also wet. I suspect the water traveled from front to back on passenger side of the car. What worries me is that we're talking about a considerable amount of water. Could you tell me what could cause that and advise?

Generally, you'd suspect water getting in through a faulty window gasket or a door gasket.

You could visually inspect them for any problems.

Hopefully, it's not a leaking heater core.  If it is the heater core, you should have a smell of coolant from the fluid.  Also check your coolant reservoir and radiator to see if they are down.
