I have a just brakes converted pep boys auto center in Lubbock Texas. I just wanted to get your thoughts on it

Do a search on this forum for Pep boys I have yet to see anything nice about them
It is an interesting concept ... parts + service. But to do that right you need scale, which most of the locations I have seen really don't.
If they have what you need, they are fine (as they say about McNuggets, "parts is parts"), but if they don't they don't. Maybe if you need something, check online if they have it and compare price versus Oreilly and Autozone.
Service, like any other discount car care facility, depends on the quality of the technician. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for something really simple (although if it's really simple, I'll do it myself).
I’ve never really used them for service or parts. The one time I did go to them to get my car scanned, they accidentally deleted the codes before we could even read them. So I never went back. 🤣
