I'd like your input as it is relatively new, I already bought one new, just want to know what to expect further down! Thanks!

With Kia’s past track record on quality, I would not have bought it.  You already bought it, so you might as well make the most of it.  Follow the maintenance closely in the owner’s manual and have the dealer service the vehicle for you so in the event of a warranty claim they won’t try to find a way out of it.  Don’t give them any excuse to deny a claim.

That's what I came here for, to be prepared. Many thanks!

You will hopefully be ok to 100k miles or so, but beyond that is a dice roll. That's for major issues. Other issues are bound to crop up sooner, so just take care of them as they happen to avoid a large bill later.

Hopefully i'll at the very least be better off with it than with my old acura tsx 2004. I figured if I were to spend money fixing something, itd better be new and better suited for my needs, than my aging acura.

With the quality that you get from KIA expect it to start having problems or start to fall apart in about 100,000 miles or sooner. They are not reliable cars.

At the very least I'll enjoy it while its new and prepare for the worst. Thanks!

The best thing I can tell you is good luck. I am relatively dissapointed with where Hyundai went with its cars, mechanically they are time bombs! I have to say they do look nice and I guess take care of it, pray, and sell it way before 100k miles.

The most common significant issue you can experience with any Hyundai/Kia product is the engine blowing up and catching on fire.

Drove down the highway the other day and saw a kia (optima)?with its hazards on and the engine steaming and slowing down. Might invest in a fire extinguisher. Praying I'm spared by the motorgods.

😆 All Kias/Hyundais should come with a complimentary fire extinguisher
