hi Scotty comunity im buying a 2022 rolls royce phantom extended wheelbase what do you guys think is it a good buy i want to confirm so i don't pay half a million and get a piece of <edited>.
Have you looked at the Lexus LC500? It's 1/5th of the price of the Rolls-Royce and will be more reliable than that.
Yes i looked at the lc500 but i am in the market for an ultra luxury sedan.
Look at the IS500 or the LS500. The LS500 may have a twin-turbo V6 but it's also an ultra-luxury sedan.
The Lexus is uses Toyota Camry parts and you comparing it to the Rolls ?? I test driven the ls before test driving the Rolls Royce and the ls dint feel nearly as good.
Mr. Norris wishes you good luck

They are exquisite but extremely high maintenance. Maybe buy the Lexus as a backup vehicle for when the Rolls is in the shop.

If you're buying a ultra-luxury vehicle, be prepared to have extra money when it's in the shop. And have a extra vehicle prepared when the time comes.
This discussion makes me think of a line from an old sitcom - one character was going to buy a Range Rover, and the other character said, "Why don't you just buy an Explorer and glue $20,000 on the hood?"
If you have $500,000 to spend on a vehicle why do you even care what we think? A person as successful as you with all that bullion surely knows what they want.
Here's the thing with a car like this; see if you have the money/want to spend the money on the very high cost of maintenance this car has. I just did a quick search and just an oil change costs anywhere from $600 to $2k. Unless you want to spend this kind of money I really don't find luxury cars at this level to be worth it.
Half a mil?
You could get just about any old Caddy and completely restore it for less than that.
how can you even compare ?????
