Hey Mr. Scott, just bought an 04 trailblazer and noticed it had a rough stuttering engine while idling. What could it mean and how do I fix it? Should I consider keeping the car or sell it?

What could it mean and how do I fix it?
It could mean many different things. (Didn't this problem show up during the pre-purchase inspection?) A good start would be to scan for codes and live data to get an idea of what's going on.
The obvious low-hanging fruit would be filters, spark plugs, vacuum leaks, and fuel pressure.
Should I consider keeping the car or sell it?
There is not enough information available to make that call.
