Hello everyone My neighbor finally got rid of her Audi. She misses it but doesn’t miss spending lots of money fixing it everyday. She traded it for a Chrysler Sebring Seville convertible 2008 low mileage garage kept. I heard of Sebrings and it does look like a Sebring and from what I understand there also the worst cars Chrysler has made and they’re just as bad as Audis. She keeps saying it’s a Sebring Seville that I never heard of. Was it a limited edition model for that car made for a short time? We’re they’re any parts in that model that are different from the regular one? Or did she mistake the name from the Cadillac Seville? I did see it it says Sebring on the back. if it is a regular Sebring she’s gonna be just as disappointed as she was with her Audi.
A quick search doesn't turn up anything on "Sebring Seville".
It might be a dealer add-on trim package. Stealerships will sometimes do that, install a bunch of useless decorations and glue on some kind of "special edition" name badge so the mark thinks they're getting something special. (Might cost the dealer $25 and they charge $2000 for the package.) Might be something like that and the cheap plastic "Seville" badge fell off at some point. Either that or the seller lied or she's confused about the name.
In any event if it's a Chrysler Sebring it is bound to be an endless source of trouble, but may suck dollars into a black hole a little slower than the Audi just because parts are cheaper.
Hey, she can call it a Chrysler Sebring Silver Ghost if she wants, but Cadillac would be VERY upset with Chrysler using their trademarked name.
But this has inspired me - I am now the owner of a Toyota M-Matrix and an M-MR2!
There was no Seville trim package or add-on. See the 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible brochure below: you had 3 trims only (LX, Touring, Limited)

Yeah it’s the limited she doesn’t get names right half the Time on anything she doesn’t know where she even got Seville from and she didn’t know there’s Cadillac Seville either way her Sebring is in mint condition let’s see how it holds up.
