I want to get my daughter a jumper pack. I've seen the ones at Harbor Freight for like 69 bucks. But there are some reviews saying it doens't work after it sits for a while.
Can anyone recommend a good quality low priced jumper pack to keep on hand and/or in a car trunk?]
Thanks.
I recently purchased a Noco GB40 "Boost Plus" that works really well. Cost about $100. Seems well-made and had no trouble firing up a 5.9L V8 in a vehicle with a flat battery.
Another possibility would be the new breed of "super capacitor" jump starters that Scotty has talked about. I'm not sure on those if they deliver just a single quick jolt or if they'll sustain some cranking. (I have some old carbureted cars with breaker-point ignition that can take some cranking to fire up.)
