On the transmission below the HOT zone, there is a mark without any text. I can not understand what is that.
It's just a marking between hot and cold. They're arrows, one points toward hot, and the other points toward cold. If it's hot and on a level surface with the engine running, it should read at hot. If it's cold, the dipstick should be at the cold end with the engine running.
I don't think so. I think the entire dotted area is the hot range, because transmissions are typically only checked hot.
OP is referring to the little tick mark below all that. I can't be certain but I would guess it's the "add 1qt mark"
What are you referring to? I don't see anything, lol.
I see now, that definitely is a little confusing. Apparently they were too cheap to put an "add one quart" indentation into it, or we're just stupid. Lol.
Yes, i'm referring to the little tick mark below all that.
Add 1 quart, or it can be the cold mark upper level.
or it's nothing to worry about.
You’re lucky and I’m jealous. I like transmission dip sticks but they are becoming extinct. One of my pet peeves with modern cars is that they don’t get these any longer. Enjoy it!
