What kind of scanner is available for 1995 Ford F-150? I can’t seem to find one…

Hi Scotty 

what kind of scanner would be good to diagnose a 1995 Ford F-150? I can’t seem to locate one for that old… help!

You are better off Googling on that particular vehicle how to retrieve the codes for free.  They each have a ‘sequence’ to follow to get the codes.

With OBDI scanners you won’t get the same wealth of information about the vehicle’s engine and other modules that you would with OBDII scanner.

You may need to look for an OBD 1 or OBD 1.5 scanner.  And they don't make them anymore.  OBD 2, the current standard, only became a standard right around the year of your truck. So your truck may have missed the cutoff to be included with OBD 2.
