Ford Ranger problems?

I just bought a Ford Ranger 2008 with a v6 4.0 liter engine and it only has 2,700 miles on it. Yep, that's right only 2,700 miles on my ranger. I bought it a month ago from a private party and its been driving like a dream but I'm not sure what problems I will eventually encounter in the future and how to fix/prevent them. What problems does this truck typically face?

Also, I would change out all fluids, if you haven’t already.

Great find! They tend to have rust issues. If you live in a rust prone area, throughly check the truck's undercarriage, especially the rear frame. Ford got cheap and their frames are joined steel, with the rear half having less quality than the front half. My '99 Ranger started to rot around the riveted joints, but I caught it in time. I regularly use lanolin based Fluid Film to try to keep the rust from progressing any further. The structure is still fine, it mainly affected a crossmember. It has 291k miles on it.
