I got a deal for a 1981 datsun 720 4x4 in great condition, only has a little over 180xxx miles and I plan on making it my daily. Any known issues these pickup have that I should look out before I buy from the seller.
It's such an old vehicle, I'd go to specific Datsun forums (Yes, there are Datsun Forums on the Internet) and ask that question. There may be folks on those forums with the specific kind of vehicle and experience maintaining them that you're looking for.
Need to do some homework. Parts might be a serious problem. Like trying to daily drive a JDM.
If you can’t get parts local, it’s a hobby not a driver.
A 40yr old, high mileage vehicle as your daily, may not be the best idea. Especially since you don’t know it’s maintenance history.
