I just picked up a 2010 Toyota RAV4 with 153,000 miles on it. Spent several hours yesterday cleaning up the car, but I can't get the wheels clean as it looks like they are stained from brake dust. Tried my regular wheel cleaner and even tried Sonax.
Any suggestions as I don't feel comfortable using an acid-based cleaner on painted wheels.

I found that goo be gone automotive spray cleaner works best
