2005 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L V8 for $6,334 with 162,298 miles from a dealership. Should I buy???

A 17 year old vehicle from a stealership? Have it checked out by a mechanic and offer them $3K. The dealer probably didn't pay more than $2K for it.
