Hi, Scotty I am looking into buying this 2000 Toyota Sienna LE/XLE minivan with the 3.0L V6. 182,103 miles on the odo. Of course, it's an Auto. Very nice car for the age drove smoothly and didn't see or hear anything worth worrying about. Very nice vehicle for the year. It's listed at a dealership, but he is priced at private seller prices. Here's a link: https://www.thevillaautosalesil.com/vdp/17822915/Used-2000-Toyota-Sienna-LE-4Door-for-sale-in-Collinsville-IL-62234 But I am going to have it pre-purchased inspected before I purchased it with a 270 point inspection. It will be my first vehicle used to get me back and forth from my school internship in town, a school in the town over, and to my job in town. I read the only issue with these is sledge issues, but I am presuming as long as I change it at 3,000 miles, and use synthetic oil it would be fine. Overall, what do you think about the vehicle with your 53 years of experience?
Thanks,
Caleb
FWIW, I had a 2001 Sienna, in 15 years/200k miles, the only things I "fixed" were new rear shocks, tires and batteries.
The one thing people have problems with are the electric sliding doors - here's some quantitative data
