Hello,
I have problem with my Mondeo MK3 TDCI 2.2 Euro 4
Last few weeks, when it's warm outside 22°C+ and I'm driving on 5th or 6th my enginge gets really rattly and noisy when I accelerate (1500-2000RPM). In the moment when I remove the foot from gas the noise disappears.
I was thinking it could be something from the air filter or MAF sensor, because hot air is less dense.
Today I cleaned my MAF sensor and change the air filter. Still the same.
Someone says it coulde be the DMF, but I don't think so because, in every other gear is good, no rattle when I start engine or enter first gear.

Well for some reason ignition timing is bad and it rattles then please just be a problem with the VVT valve system
