Hi
Scotty Kilmer advices against purchasing new models of vehicles, since this makes it impossible to identify if it has common faults and to determine its reliability.
Therefore, after how many years of a vehicle coming out is required to determine its common faults/ overall reliability.
If it is 5 years would you advise people to purchase a 2019/2020 model of a vehicle as the earliest?

Sure, that would be a logical thing to do. Of course, don't put any particular constraints. If you find a good vehicle at a good price in other years. You can find an older car with lower mileage. It's going to be the best deal of them all
