Where is the best place to look to buy a replacement car engine currently looking for a replacement engine for my v6 3.8l g675 engine for an 05 galant, I know it’s the same engine that’s in the endeavors but I’m not sure where is a trustworthy place to buy a new engine.
Well you kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place there. Mitsubishi engines are relatively weak and that is an 18-year-old engine. So you'd have to be buying an old used one which would be a gigantic gamble. And for my experience very few modern day engine rebuilders do very good job on Mitsubishi engines. Personally I don't know if I'd mess with the vehicle at all. The money you would spend to buy a correctly remanufactured engine and install it is way over the value of your car. You probably better off looking for a used Toyota or Honda instead and starting over cuz Mitsubishi's they get to be that age. They're generally money pets
