Hey, Scotty, I'm buying a new car in a couple of days. 2019 Honda Accord 2.0t with 10-speed auto or a 2019 Toyota Avalon 3.5 with 8-speed auto?

I would buy the Toyota unless the Honda is a manual sense Honda is known for weak automatic transmissions

If you want something sportier, I would consider the Accord 2.0T with a manuel transmission. Honda's 8, 9, and 10 Speed transmissions are somewhat weak.
I really like my 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport w/10-Speed auto. Shifts great and is a lot of fun in Sport mode. Plenty of punch for keeping up with traffic, etc.
Avalons are nice, but I really like the 2.0T and 10-speed combo on the Accord.
Definitely get the Avalon, You will enjoy the smooth luxury ride.
