I found you while researching Honda Pilots. I know nothing about cars and am looking for the best Honda model to tow an enclosed trailer no larger than 5x8. I do not want a truck and prefer a mid size AWD SUV. A little luxury and peace of mind are desired. Appreciate the help 😀 Would consider other makes, but I want something with low miles and that won't cost an arm and a leg to fix. Midsize Honda SUV for towing is a short list. Pilot, Passport. Both are good in most model years. And either would easily handle a little trailer like that.
AFAIK, they mostly share powertrains. Carcomplaints.com can tell you problems for each model year.
I concur with @dad2lm2.
Either a Pilot or Passport. The Pilot and Passport are basically the same car underneath, one just has third row seating and the other is a little more nimble.
