Which Honda to get?

Hello Scotty! Thank you so much for all your videos and work you put into them.

About two years ago I asked you which one to get a Qashqai or a CR-V and following your recommendation I got 2009 CR-V 2009 which currently is at 200k km.

Now since I am moving countries and can bring a car with me without paying import duties which then will prohibit me of selling that vehicle during 5 years. I need a new car that for sure will last 5 years without major issues.

This way, I would like to get a newer crv model either a 4th or 5th generation.

Currently I am looking at these, only considering diesel;

1. CR-V Executive 2015 52k km manual

2. CR-V Executive 2017 52k km manual

3. CR-V Executive 2015 92k km manual

They are all at slightly different prices and some little things like panoramic roof, leather interior etc and my real question is does the age really matter if both 1 and 2 have very similar mileage?

Also do you think I should consider automatic transmission?

I am a big fan of manual and in fact can't drive an automatic, are automatic reliable?

Thank you so much for your time.

Kind regards,

Julia Jones

At those close enough ages age doesn't matter it's the mileage that counts all those are good cars

Wow! What a quick reply!

Thank you so much

Have a lovely rest of the day

Oh and what about automatic transmission?
Are they reliable? Or should I stick to manual?

I would go option 2. Newest option with least miles.

I have 2 Hondas, a 2020 Accord and 2021 Ridgeline. Both automatics. Both zero issues so far. 40k miles between the two.
