I know corolla is pure and the supra isn't, but what about the sienna, camry, avolon, yaris, prius, tundra, lexus, tacoma, hiace, etc?
This is just a partial list of Toyota’s and where they are made for the North American market:
Sienna = Princeton, IN
Avalon, Camry, Lexus ES = Georgetown, KY
Tundra, Tacoma = San Antonio, TX (but Tacoma will eventually be 100% assembled in Mexico)
Lexus RX = Cambridge, Ontario (Canada)
For ones made in Japan (and shipped to North America) again partial list:
-Toyota 4runner
-Lexus GS (discontinued)
-Lexus GX and LX
-Lexus IS
-Lexus LS and LC
In a global economy, 100% of the parts are not going to be sourced from one country, including design and engineering. That being said, the best Toyota’s/Lexus’s are the ones assembled in Japan.
All of Toyota's hybrids are made in Japan.
How pure is pure to you? Pure could be designed and made in Japan, … or designed in U.S. and made in Japan, … or combination of the two. Or designed by Toyota any where, and assembled by Toyota any where. Like, … say, RAV-4 made in Canada, or Lexus RX-350 and 350h, too.
For me, for example, makes no difference where it was designed,… but made in Japan I consider it pure. Yes. Japanese assembled cars are better. Better assembled, include better quality sourced parts, … like tires and batteries and seats, for example.
Anyway, … I consider Japanese assembled Toyota to be a Toyota, … just like Japanese assembled Honda I consider to be Japanese made car. It’s all about the end product: quality!
… but that’s me. Your impression may differ.
F.S.
The Supra is BMW built and designed. The Yaris is basically a rebadged version of the Mazda 2. All the other cars on that list are "pure" Toyota, if that's what you want to call it. If the cars are made in Japan, their VIN begins with a J. So I would consider a Toyota designed and built by Toyota and made in Japan to be a "pure" Toyota.
No cars are going to be sourced all in one country, unfortunately. Just as a point of reference, the 2020 tundra, which I guess you would call an American Toyota, is about 60% US content. I believe Camry and Avalon are similar.
Most Lexi are heavy Japanese content, as is, I believe, the 4Runner. But even those will have many components from China, and I would guess Viet Nam and Thailand, and possibly S. Korea and random others.
The current Supra and Yaris are more or less badge engineered BMW and Mazda, respectively.
Everything else listed is a Toyota. And they are built all over.

Look on the right where it says "Assembly," they are made in different countries depending on where you are. The vin should start with J if its made in Japan.
I have a 2020 CH-R made in Japan. I believe if the VIN starts with a J it is a car made in Japan. I could be mistaken
Yes it is made at the Iwate plant at TMEJ
