Honda Civic vs Toyota Corolla vs Mazda 3

Hello Scotty, I am in the market for a new compact sedan with an automatic transmission. I was interested in a new Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla but I found out that they both have the CVT transmission. One of the only vehicles in that class that doesn't have a CVT is the Mazda 3. Those have a 6 speed auto transmission. Which car do you recommend?

It truly depends on what you’re looking to get out of it. If you need a dependable car for the long run, go for the Civic or the Corolla. Yes they both have CVTs but they’re both the best built ones out there.

If you plan on just leasing a car and plan on returning it after a certain amount of time, for sure give the Mazda3 a shot. They look like fun cars.

Hope this helps

Go with either Toyota or Honda for the best reliability.

Really, you can't go wrong with any of those three choices. Buy whichever one you like best.

I personally like the mazda. It is a much more enjoyable car to drive. Mazda quality is very close to Honda and Toyota.  I suggest you drive all 3 and see what you like. You can't go wrong with any one you decide to choose.
