I'm considering buying r x 350 i'm looking at it 2017, but I believe it has an 8 speed transmission. It's only front wheel drive. What are your thoughts on this? 6 speed or 8 speed transmission. Front wheel, drive or all wheel drive or are the older models better with the six speed tranny

I guess so. That generation came out in 2015 with new 6 and 8 speed transmissions.

That is up to you what you need or want.

I personally like the 6-speed transmissions. The eights aren't bad but they're a bit more finicky and cost a ton more to fix if they do finally break down if you keep them forever
