2013 Toyota Camry LE 140k I have owned for several years always done my own work on car. It had a creaking from front end I could see rubber splitting and cracking. I swapped out both lower control arms. No more creaking sound which is wonderful.
I did have to lift both motor mounts out of the way to do job. Have also recently replaced front struts, cc axles and brakes.
I now have a very minor whining from front left (transaxle side) starting out disappearing after 10 mph. I am planning on checking fluid level in trans case this week.
thoughts? Maybe this is normal after removing axle from hub to do control arm.

thanks

It's not normal. Check to see if you have a wheel bearing starting to wear out.
