Good afternoon everyone hope all is well. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the V6 cheers to over 208,400 miles and still counting. There's a whining sound I can't seem to figure out what's causing it. It's most notably after turning and picking up rpm of 3K and higher which gets louder at high rpm. It's been going on for now 2 years. I've replaced the alternator which was needed anyway it didn't seem to get rid of it. Replaced idler pulley and same result. Any recommendations on what all to check?

How many times have your flushed out the power steering fluid? Should be on at least your third change.
@imperator Truth be told... One time back in 2016.
the fluid is probably black as coffee
@imperator oooweee. Ill have it changed
Run it briefly without the fan belt and see if the noise persists. If the noise goes away check all accessories and pulleys in the belt path.
@chucktobias Was thinking about it you think it could be the water pump?
It could be anything driven by the fan belt.
