I just bought my wife a 2010 Ford Edge 3.5 engine1300 miles that runs pretty good then all of a sudden, and only when she sits at a drive thu for a while, plus having the a/c on combination, sometimes huge white smoke comes from the 2 tail pipes like a mosquito truck and stalls the engine. I had her to put it on the highway while I tailed her and the smoke eventually faded to a stop plus back to a smooth feeling ride again. Pull the oil stick and the oil cap but no water or condensation on either. This happened 2 or 3 more times since the 1st with the a/c on at a drive thru. Last week we took it almost 400 miles to Houston and back with no problems but scared to leave the ac on in the drive thru. Please give us some advice on what might this be. From Gunn Nissan dealership whom gave me a paper with a alert that they said they had fulfilled but I went to the ford dealer and they gave me a run around saying they never did it but gave me a paper that had a cleaning of the tank on it.🤷♂️ Thanks {pear}:surprised:
that's not a good sign. That sounds like a failed engine gasket.
Check the head gasket leak with the kit Scotty recommended from Amazon.
