Is there such a place that rebuilds starters- rather than replacing a starter in your car with a new one you send yours out to be rebuilt and buy a cheap aftermarket one to use as an interim?

Yes, if you can find one. There are not as many as there used to be decades ago.
@chucktobias Ok thank you. Figured I’d ask because back in the day I remember there were many places where you can go to get a starter rebuilt now it seems like theres nobody I’ll let you know who I find
