I drive a 2019 Volvo S60 T5 with about 21,000 miles (mostly city driving). I bought it used from Park Place Volvo Dallas in late 2019 with about 1,000 miles; it was just a loaner car, never another owner.
So far, I’ve had to replace the front brake rotors and pads, and the rear brake pads. I’ve also had to replace all four wheels. All replacements have been on different occasions.
My car would shake/vibrate when going about 50-80mph for more than 20 minutes. Also the brakes made a horrible grinding noise when the pads went metal to metal.
Is this just a Volvo issue, or is it my service centre just doing a poor job? I use the dealership’s service centre (Park Place Volvo Dallas) and to be honest don’t trust them very much.
Any recommendations on better service centres for Volvo in Dallas would be appreciated because I’m about to have to go get my heat blower fixed. Or even just some advice on why my brakes keep having issues.
Thanks
Are you sure this car wasn’t flooded & repaired?
Volvos are luxury cars, obviously the ABS issues aren’t “normal”
shouldn’t it still be under warranty?
Cause if no - you should go around and get estimates and diagnosis results to see if anyone can put their finger on what’s exactly wrong with it.
