Hi Scotty! Wanted to say thanks for before with my honda odyssey i got the timing marks on point! But not i have a question about a 2005 Honda Civic Ex with 150,000. My friend says when he turns the key the lights come on and flicker but it doesn't attempt to turn over. He said he replaced the starter, alternator, and battery posts. He also said he checked the fuses too. What could it be?

Could be a bad 17-year-old ignition switch. Does the starter even click (solenoid engaging)? Check to see that the starter solenoid is getting +12V on the small trigger wire when trying to start.
He says the starter doesn't click, but i will check it for him when i go there. He's kinda on the edge cuz someone tried to sell him an ECu.
