will a 05 sub motor fit in a 07 avalanche

It should fit but lots of times the sensors in different year models and wiring and computer software is different you'd have to ask a guy who actually did that to see if there's any major hassles

The motor will fit since they're both based on the LS platform (5.3 or 6.0), but the Avalanche being newer ('07); my bet would be has a different ECU and other computers, and more electronics and other tech. (afm, cylinder deactivation, etc...) that didn't come on the 05 Suburban's so that's where the difference will be and make it more of a pain. Good Luck, it's a big endeavor.
