I was going to try to change the oil on my 2016 toyota rav4. It has an oil filter cartridge enclosed in a housing some say is very difficult to remove. Anybody have any bad experiences with this?

Get a wrench designed specifically for Toyota filter housing. Make sure that you follow instruction of how to install the new cartridge - pay attention to proper positioning and installation of the new o-ring.
