I heard the engine and trans are diff in the 05 and 06 than the ones in the 2007-2010
And I mean move both engine and trans over
I never attempt to swap anything on any later model vehicle like that. There are too many hardware software wiring changes over the years. I would never attempt it. I have seen people attempt such things and they normally fail with disastrous results of a vehicle that never runs right again

The only thing I can recommend is swapping the old transmission and engine with exactly the same "new" ones. Better yet, if they make remanufactured engines and transmissions through Honda itself, go for that. Make sure it's from the exact same model year.
Swapping engines and transmissions is a rats nest. Back in the 70s, you could swap stuff out in a few hours, as long as the engines and transmissions were compatible with each other, and the rest of the car. Stuff was analog and not computerized. Nowadays, it's all based on computers.
