On a lot of modern cars, there’s a display (some are touchscreen, some aren’t) in the center of the dash. Which car brand do you think makes the worst infotainment system?
They all suck. Ford might be the worst. Then VW. Toyota isn't great either.
The worst are the ones that stick up above the dash. I would never drive a car like that.
Stares at Kiyundai, Mazda, Mercedes..
Couldn't agree more.. I think it was Mercedes who started the trend back in 2010, and then everybody else followed like cattle.
Apparently, In 1955-1959, the Volkswagen Beetle was produced with a Hertella coffee maker built into the dashboard.
Now that's my kind of accessory!

quality!
Toyota/Lexus. Nevertheless, I still recommend them. You get used to the infotainment though, and they have improved recently. I’ll take that trade off for reliability and longevity any day.
distraction

This is literally Kiyundai’s sales tactic! You may burn to death or die in a crash from the brakes failing, but hey, you’ll die in comfort while streaming your favourite tv show..
lol. You can tweet about how your Kia is burning down.
Lol yeah, like passengers tweeting about their imminent plane crash..
@inthrustwetrust
Why need brakes when you have crash avoidence systems?

Oh-
Why need a human driver when you have a Tesla autopilot?
Is the autopilot clean title? If so I'm a loyal customer!
The video I put also shows how Ford doesn't care about its customers like @mod_man 's experience they don't stand behind their products and the Ford Pinto memo Ford doesn't care about the safety of their customers.
Also to add something on topic, their infotainment system (My Ford touch) is horrible. Literal garbage.
Ugh. I haven't seen a MODERN one I liked. They are ALL horrible. ALL.
I have a toyota and I am not impressed with there system. It works painfully slow at times.
VOLKSWAGEN JETTA
The worst sound system ever. Forget about the infotainment, the VW Jetta sound system is used as a base by car reviewers when they hear a bad sound system they say "at least it isn't VW Jetta bad"
And special dis-commendation to the BMW iDrive with the knob and similar implementations from other companies. Ugh.
First of all, "infotainment" is not even a real word, it's just some made-up marketing thing. (It's not in my Funk & Wagnall's for sure.) Second of all I despise touch screens so in my view the radios in all modern cars are awful.
we use made up words all the time. Like hydroboost, Manumatic overdrive and satnav.
Infotainment isn't even the worst of them. At least you can tell right away what it means.
I personally despise 1. Tesla's and 2. the Toyota Mirai's dashboard. They look hideous. Like a spaceship with a Samsung tablet stuck on it.
I like the dashboard of economy cars better like the 2014 Corolla.
