Dear Scotty Love your videos. I am looking to purchase a 2014 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with about 55000 miles on it. The engine is a 2.5 L I4 F DOHC 16 V gasoline AWD. The CARFAx for the VIN JM3KEDY1E0349295 shows the owner maintained it every 3000 miles. Purchase price is about $18000. Depending if I trade in my 2006 Odyssey EXL with 215,000 miles and still in very good maintained condition. It is old and still lots of original parts but runs well. Kids all grown up and no need for 2 large cars as I have a 2014 pilot.

One thing you can be certain of is the dealer will do everything possible to rip you off. Only a good mechanic checking that vehicle out before purchase can tell you whether it's worth buying. (If the dealer won't let you do that, run away.)
