  • I installed a new radiator in my truck. There is a small coolant leak around the metal fitting for the transmission cooler where it comes out of the plastic tank on the side of the radiator. No transmission fluid, just coolant. Hoping there is an easy fix without having to tear her apart again. My question is: Could I remove the fitting from the radiator and put some gasket maker around the bottom and reinstall it to the plastic tank? And if so what would be the best product to use?

I would try JB weld quick that's the best 22 epoxy I've ever seen just make sure you do it with an empty radiator so it's completely dry dry it with a hair dryer first
