Yellowish Power Steering Fluid

2002 Nissan Sentra 190k miles automatic

Recently got this car for free, runs great.

But I noticed the ps fluid had a yellowish color to it. I used a turkey bastor and sucked out all old fluid like 3 times, and refilled with Crestone universal fluid.

Slowly the steering wheel got harder to turn. Now its at its hardest to turn, still feels like it has power steering but it's a lot hard to turn than usual.

I googled old ps fluid pictures and found some that were yellow. I have no ps leak. Could changing it with good fluid really mess it up?

Not sure if it was Trans fluid or regular ps fluid. I don't think regular ps fluid turns yellow. Online says it calls for Trans fluid in PS. So should I drain all fluid out and just put tranny fluid.

I'm confused on what to do. I don't want to break it.
