| Hi, Love the channel, keep up the great work! I live in Australia and looking at buying a 2022 Peugeot 5008 GT Sport SUV. I'm interested to know how the engine and transmission fair reliability wise. The transmission they use is an 8-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission (EAT) which is built by Toyota-owned transmission specialist, Aisin. | My Peugeot 5008,1.6 petrol engine automatic transmission 2010 model has an aircon problem it doesn't Cool the car and when we refill gas the pipes do not catch the icy cold and the gauge isn't stable it goes up and down,the same car has a problem of engine oil leakage below the gearbox despite having been attended twice by a mechanic it continues to leak. I am trying purchase a vehicle where ideally I can have three toddlers in baby chairs. 3 ISOFIX would work but that is hard to find - only one so far is Peugeot 5008 but the reliability scores are not great. | It's still a lot, more than a brand new Toyota RAV4, although this is a car of the same caliber as only a Corolla Cross and that starts at just $24,700 USD in Australia (38k AUS, GX 2.0L Petrol, CVT auto) | |||||

| thanks for your post. Mind you though its 50k AU so around 32k US with still a 5 year warranty. Ill look into the engine more, appreciate your time on the post, greatly appreciated. Ill also take a look at the lexus you mentioned. The car prices here in AUS are through the roof. Especially the used car market. | |||||

| I know absolutely nothing about those French cars because they pulled out of the United States many decades ago. No one here buys French cars and my data system doesn't even include information on them because I have a North American data system | |||||

| Ah French cars I love it that they don't sell them here in the United States anymore.it's for AC if it's unstable so many things can do that you could have a restriction that makes the pressure build up then the pressure sensor sees that and shuts it off then when it goes down it goes back up. You can also just have a bad compressor that some of the cylinders aren't working you can even have a sticky and expansion valve lots of things watch some of my videos on the Scotty kilmer channel on AC repair | |||||
