| The Ford ecosport is a scam. It's a lifted sixth generation Ford Fiesta (2008), and the ecosport it self is a decade old at this point. Ford has long discontinued that horrid economy car for most of the world - replacing it with the Ford Puma. So that's a 15 year old design, based on an unsuccessful economy car. But the main issue is that the pricing is outrageously horrible! These small crossovers are meant to be cheap - as it's just a bodykit. IT SHOULD NOT COST LIKE A FAMILY CAR! | Good Day Scotty, I would like to get your opinion, I currently have an ford ecosport 2018 MT with the 1.5 dragon engine at 24000 mileage.Someone is offering me if I would like to swap it for a Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo 2016 here in philippines. This Isuzu does not have an ECU yet, and they say it is very low maintenance. | NOPE! These Opel Mokka based cars are known for being very poorly built. Well, if you can find one that's a 2.0L naturally aspirated with a conventional automatic, if and only if it has been heavily discounted - it might be worth a look. Realize that the ecosport is an ancient car and has been a flop due it's HORRID value proposition. It's miserable outdated lifted Fiesta for the price of an actual SUV. | I have a 2019 Ford ecosport. Engine: 2.0 Trans: 6 Speed Automatic I have 29,000 miles on the vehicle and I’d like to change my transmission fluid. I plan on draining, measuring what comes out, then replacing the fluid with factory fluid. It seems there are no videos online showing the process and that’s fine. My main question is this: Is there a transmission filter that needs replacing? I’ve seen online that there is a Screen assembly for this vehicle, but I’m not sure if it’s a normally serviced part. | Hey Scotty, I have a 2019 Ford ecosport SE, FWD, 1.0 L 3-cylinder engine. The lease is up next year. However, I'm thinking of purchasing the vehicle since I like it very much. Ford says it can last up to seven years and "100,000 miles before developing serious problems that will need expensive repairs." Does it make economic sense to buy the vehicle? Overall a pretty solid generator and a source of additional boost for the hybrid system. | This is longer than I hoped...please read. I'm a 63 year old Gramma, disabled and autistic so I am at a disadvantage thinking of solutions. I have a 2018 Ford ecosport SE 65k miles, automatic that just died while driving and then threw a "low engine oil pressure" warning on the dash. The oil was changed 5 days prior, so I took it back to the oil change shop. They checked the oil level and told me it was at a safe level, and that Ford has issued a recall (25S64) for a tensioner arm or belt that fails.
