Here's a good brain tickler. It's a wind powered vehicle (no batteries or motors) that moves faster than the wind.

Honda Motor Co. has a rude surprise for drivers of its leased cars: No more turning in your vehicles to other dealers.
The carmaker said Thursday it will require the drivers with expiring leases to return their vehicles to authorized Honda and Acura dealers and refuse to accept buyouts from unaffiliated dealers or others. Honda cited tight supplies of cars and trucks as a result of shortfalls in critical components and congestion at ports as the economy recovers.

Well don't have high hopes of a rotary engine coming
Behind the scenes look at the vehicles in the film "Mad Max: Fury Road". All the vehicles had to be functional.

The "Gigahorse" is driven by the villain in Fury Road. It is powered by twin Chevrolet V8 Big Block supercharged engines.

This is probably the most stripped-down 2022 Land Cruiser you will ever get. It doesn't even have a touch screen or heated seats.
2022 Tundra
They're SO ugly. Inside and out. Look at all those buttons!
And people pay $10k over sticker price for it.
I particularly liked this part: "Ford says if one of the recalled vehicles experiences a brake booster malfunction, the driver may find it harder to use the brake pedal, and the vehicle will suffer from increased stopping distances." The vehicle wont be the only thing to suffer. They could have mentioned that part. What a disgrace.
Clear the snow off your cars, people!
Not a question but after seeing this I couldn't help but remember when Scotty talks about bad quality cars and uses a picture of a Tesla in the junkyard.
People kill me. Why take a photo of your own stupidity to keep with you for a lifetime? {black}:idontknow:
A crowd of people stopped traffic on the I-880 in Oakland ... for this. Just watch the video.

Why didn't somebody call a social worker?
Yes, it's happening in cities from coast to coast in the US.
Entire city intersections are shut down, dirt bikes and offroad 4-wheelers riding by the hundreds on city streets, highways etc.
The police are stretched too thin to respond, and city leaders are too weak to do anything about it. Even if a few of them are caught, they receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
The US general population has also become too weak and complacent to respond as well.
haha yes, we had a pretty big snowstorm in a lot of southern Ontario.
Here we go again with Hyundai Motor Group.
“The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration just released a news bulletin with a “park outdoors” order for certain Hyundai and Kia models at risk of catching on fire. This applies to approximately 485,000 vehicles, including the 2014-2015 Hyundai Tucson, 2016-2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, 2017-2018 Santa Fe Sport, 2019 Santa Fe XL, 2014-2016 Kia Sportage and 2016-2018 Kia K900.”
So if you own one of these vehicles, park outside away from other vehicles and structures.

In other surprising news, from what I've been told the sun will rise in the east in the morning.
Hey @chucktobias - I went to the NEWS page and it does not say where or how to post anything, only search. Is there some trick to this? Thanks

Not the 1st time. Land Rover owners don't seem very happy about their vehicles.
2019 - almost 200 hours over two and a half years on the phone trying to sort problems
2018 - Dumped outside dealership by furious owner
"Mr Hamilton had bought for his expectant wife reportedly began to show problems within days of purchase ... he was put on hold for five-and-a-half hours when he rang up to complain ... after seven weeks of Land Rover keeping his car in to repair the broken gearbox and suspension, they have failed to give a deadline for when the work will be finished."
Thanks for moving this to the News section, I couldn't find it.
