2022 Subaru outback turbo charge oil leak

Hi Scotty, I have a 2022 Subaru Outback XT with 12,000 miles. I know you hate them, but I didn’t know that when I bought it. I probably wouldn’t have purchased the Turbo if I had watched your videos sooner. About a month ago I noticed it was leaking oil, not much, about the size of a small pancake every night. I took it to the dealer and the service technician tried to convince me that I was probably just seeing water. So I explained to him that I parked my car in the garage every night and I had put some paper towels down. I then presented him with the paper towel and some additional pictures. So then he said it was most likely a bad crush washer on the drain plug. They changed the oil, replaced the plug washer and sent me on my way. I didn’t notice it leaking again for a couple of weeks, but then it started all over. So today I borrowed my next-door neighbors ramps, and got underneath to see if it was coming from the drain plug. The drain plug was clean, zero oil leaking from it. However, there was oil dripping all over underneath. I couldn’t determine the source. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on the most likely source. I just want to know before I go back to the dealer. Especially because they tried to dismiss my concerns for the first time.

Thanks!

You can use UV dye to track down the source of oil leaks.
