Most useful live data?

I’ve got OBD Fusion. It allows you customize dashboards with live data displays. What live data do you typically glean the most useful information from as a starting point, data that I should display on my first dashboard?

The ones you care the most. depends on what you look for.

The most useful data is "what's normal" for my car when it's running well?.

When you have a driveability issue and you're going through your Freeze Frame or Live Data you want to easily identify the values which are out-of-norm for you particular car.

The neat things about these APP scanners is that they have the Heads Up Display mode (HUD).

I'd set up the dashboard with a few of the values I'd like to familiarize myself with when the engine is running well so I can easily identify them when something is wrong.

I wouldn't "clutter" it up too much. Just a few things.

Maybe,

MAF

MAP

RPM (what's normal idling rpm is nice to know)

Engine Coolant Temp (nice to know normal operating temp for your engine)

Battery (nice to know normal charging voltage)

Maybe LTFT & STFT

Most of that you don't need for daily driving . It's just another gadget distraction.

However, if you drive one of those vehicles that's missing essential gauges, like voltage, then turn that on.
