I have a 1999 Ford F-150 4X4 4.6 with 146,000 miles I inherited from my step father in law. I've gone through and changed all the fluids\filters including transmission, power steering, transfer case, coolant, oil & filter, air filter, PCV, fuel filter, and spark plugs front disk pads and rotors. The only thing left is the front and rear differentials. Do you think I should go with the Amsoil on this as I won't ever be changing it again and it appears to be highly rated? Everything else is OEM Motorcraft or Mobil1 Synthetic oil that I used. Anything else I need to go over? Thanks for your input on this Scotty! Keep the awesome videos rolling!!
plain old gear oil works for me. But since you say this will be the only time, then it doesn't really manny if you spring for the Amsoil. What will be difference... $20?
