Greetings,
Due to the intake manifold leaking coolant, i decided to replace all the ignition coils and spark plugs along with the new manifold gaskets. I removed the fuel railing to have better access in removing and replacing the coils & plugs.
We finished the job, and reassembled everything. Once we cranked the engine, fuel was leaking from the fuel rail on the passenger side where all 4 fuel injectors attach to the rail.
Could all 4 have gotten messed up and need to be replaced or maybe there is no electricity going into the injectors?
Thank you for your time and attention.
then you're doing a teardown like that, it's usually a good idea to buy a gasket kit and replace all the seals you touch.
So I would replace your injector o-rings
we bought new injectors; replaced all of them on the passenger side since thats where they were leaking; well it did the same thing. leaking from where the fuel railing connected to the injectors. once we crank the engine, fuel leaks from the top of each injector plugged into the fuel railing. I wonder if we need to purge the fuel pressure before we crank the engine?
